Biography

Mikhail Tikhonov was born in Moscow in 1958.
1984 – graduated from the Moscow Art School by memory of 1905 year
1990 – graduated from Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov
1992 – member of the Moscow Union of Artists
1992 – 1995 – member of the Russian Academy of Arts
1993 – the diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts for a series of graphic works on the composition of Andrei Platonov

Mikhail’s works are held in collections of: Saratov The Saratov State art museum after A. Radishchev, Russia; “Tarusa Art Gallery”, Russia; Art Gallery Ustyuzhna, Russia; Nizhny Tagil Fine Arts Museum, Russia; Art Gallery Viterbo, Italy; Municipal Gallery, Bregenz, Austria; Pier Luigi collection Selma, Bologna, Italy; and in private collections in Russia, Europe, USA, Japan and other countries.
