The East Meets West Gallery is pleased to announce a joint exhibit by Catherine Charreyre and Alexander Oligerov entitled “Parallel Worlds”. The event is part of the annual Artesania Art Fair held at the New Manege exhibition hall. Catherine Charreyre is a French artist specializing in installations, textile constructions, sculpture and photo-histories, and will be presenting part of her new project “Traveling Coats” – clothing that, like a human memory, store in their folds images, memories and emotional impressions about the places they visit. Alexander Oligerov first exhibited in Moscow during our art-project “Organica” in 2010. His new series of works “Color Dreams” creates a parallel world of colorful dreams, at one moment full of anxiety, at another full of joy, sometimes full of sorrow sometimes very touching.
